With the introduction of Pro Tools 2022.6 it is now possible to offline bounce a mix to re-renders. To perform an offline bounce to re-renders:
 

• Choose File > Bounce Mix (Option+Command+B).
• Select WAV (Dolby Atmos) from the File Type dropdown menu.
• Check Create Re-Renders (WAV).
• Select if the Re-Renders should be interleaved (SMPTE channel ordering for 5.1 and 7.1) or Multiple Mono from the File Format dropdown menu.

• Click on Configure to set up the desired re-render(s)

• Type a name, click add (+), set the channel width of the re-render(s), and specify full mix or Custom to select which groups (previously defined) will be included in the Re-Render.

• Click Ok
• Once re-renders have been configured, select which re-renders to add to the Bounce Mix window using the Re-Renders: dropdown menu and the “+” and “-“ buttons.

 

• Select the source of program-level metadata from the “Apply program-level metadata from” dropdown menu:
  • Factory Default
  • Connected Renderer (only available if connected to a Renderer)
  • Previous ADM File (most recently imported ADM BWF)

• Program level metadata includes:
  • Trim and downmix metadata
  • Binaural render mode metadata
• Set the File Destination.
• Check Offline for faster than real-time bounces.
• Click Bounce.

The speed of an offline bounce to ADM BWF is dependent on the session and CPU.
