The Dolby Atmos Music Panner plug-in can co-exist in a Pro Tools Ultimate session alongside the native immersive panning. However, they should not both be used on the same track. To avoid confusion it might be best to create a session where the first half of the tracks use native panning and the rest use the Dolby Atmos Music Panner. A sample template is attached.

Alternatively, native panners can be selectively disabled by unmapping them from the Renderer in the I/O Setup bus page. The track will display "no object" in the track column of the edit view. Then set the output of the track to the desired output, insert the Dolby Atmos Music Panner plug-in and assign it to the same Object(s).
