Nuendo 11 provides a self contained Dolby Atmos workflow. Depending on your requirements there are some features that are only available in the Dolby Atmos Renderer that may be needed. These include the ability to punch in/out of masters, MP4 export, Binaural Rendering, stem-based re-renders, and speaker layouts above 7.1.4

Note that Binaural Render Mode settings can be authored in Nuendo 11 but require the Dolby Atmos Renderer for monitoring.
