Online training courses
The Dolby Atmos courses cover all the workflows you need to get started creating content in Dolby Atmos. Dolby Atmos Renderer integrated and external workflows utilizing a range of DAWs is covered in depth. The curriculum moves you through basic content creation, to advanced workflows and delivery specifications. Post-Production and Music focused exercises are included along with demo and exercise content accompanied by easy-to-follow tutorial videos.
The Dolby Vision training courses provide content creators with the basic knowledge and advanced skills required to produce high-quality Dolby Vision content. Starting with basic concepts, the courses introduce the Dolby Vision workflow and guide you through the key steps of content creation in Dolby Vision. As the course progresses, you will gain in-depth insights specifically tailored to experienced users, covering advanced topics such as cinema mastering, metadata management and the integration of graphics and text in a Dolby Vision environment. You will also learn how to use the Interoperable Master Format (IMF) to deliver Dolby Vision, enabling you to master complex projects with confidence and precision.
Visual Storytelling in HDR Training
This in-depth training course explores the creative potential of High Dynamic Range (HDR) for visual storytelling, guided by Director of Photography and coach Matthias Bolliger. Starting with foundational concepts, the course demonstrates how HDR can be utilized from the very beginning of production to enhance storytelling through light and contrast. Building upon these essentials, the advanced modules dive deeper into HDR as a creative tool, introducing the concept of “light scripting” offering valuable perspectives from filmmakers, creative designers, cinematographers, and camera operators. These sessions empower visual creators to fully leverage HDR as a storytelling language.

Dolby Vision Individual Certification
The Dolby Vision Individual Certification allows professionals to showcase their Dolby Vision skills, knowledge and qualifications and thereby increase their value and standing in the highly competitive content creation industry.
The certification process requires the successful completion of an online questionnaire along with the submission of a Dolby Vision IMF package, a Dolby Vision XML as well as a derived SDR It is strongly recommended that you complete the Dolby Vision Essentials and Advanced Training before signing up for certification. Upon successful completion you will receive a Certificate, and a listing on Dolby's online directory for Dolby Vision Certified Professionals.
