With the release of Dolby Atmos Renderer v5.3 you can now control the transport and monitoring sections of the Renderer using OSC commands sent to port 8001 from an OSC device on the same network as the Renderer. The following commands can be used:

/dar/transport/play

Changes Renderer to internal transport (if it wasn't already) and resumes transport

/dar/transport/stop

Changes Renderer to internal transport (if it wasn't already) and stops transport

/dar/transport/pause

Changes Renderer to internal transport (if it wasn't already) and pauses transport

/dar/transport/seek f ##

Changes Renderer to internal transport (if it wasn't already) and moves the playhead to ## (in seconds) location

/dar/transport/external_sync i 0,1

Engages (1) or disengages (0) the external sync to LTC

/dar/monitoring/attenuation f 0.0 - 1.0

Sets the attenuation to the value specified (in amplitude: 0 is -inf dB, 1 is 0dB). Accepted values are 0.0 to 1.0

/dar/monitoring/mute i 0,1 i 0,1 i 0,1

Enables (1) or disables (0) mutes for all, beds, objects**

/dar/monitoring/dim i 0,1

Enables (1) or disables (0) dim

/dar/monitoring/enable_record_in_out i 0,1

Enables (1) or disables (0) bounded recording functionality. To enable, the master must be unlocked.

/dar/monitoring/set_record_in_out f ## f xx

Sets the bounded recording points to In = ## and Out = xx. Timecode values are passed in seconds and bounded recording must be enabled for this command to work

/dar/monitoring/arm_record i 0,1

Arms (1) or disarms (0) recording. To use this, the master needs to be loaded and unlocked

/dar/monitoring/input_master_source i 0,1

Switches between Source modes. 0 is Input, 1 is Master

/dar/monitoring/monitoring_layout i ##

Switches between monitoring layouts. ## corresponds to the index in the Monitoring dropdown in Renderer

 

**The mute command is incorrect in the documentation that shipped with Dolby Atmos Renderer 5.3
